APPLE DAY

Description: l2x
1st Manotick scouting will be running its annual Manotick/Riverside South Area Apple Day from 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2013

This is one of our fundraisers for the year to help fund everything from purchasing equipment, offering program initiatives that otherwise would be excessive in total cost for youth to participate, and other activities.

We expect and depend on the participation of all members, leaders and parents to help make this a success.

Assembly point:  Riverside South youth – St. Jerome

Youth are requested to wear their uniforms and bring an apple basket and small containers (margarine or pringle container with slitted top) to hold donations.

Be sure to dress for the weather!

Parents/Leader and 2-4 youth will be given maps for selected street(s), instructions and apples for youth to request donations in support of Riverside South  scouting activities.  We are not selling apples but asking for donations and giving an apple as a thank you.

Groups are requested to return to assembly area with donations collected by 11:30 a.m.

1st Meeting Held !

C Pack is off to a great year.
We did the following in our first mtg
        - The Cubs were introduced to the leaders and the new cubs introduced to the old cubs
        - We reviewed some of the requirements on the Green & Tawny Stars (This is what we are working on this year )
        - played some games
        - Reviewed the Cub Scout Law & Promise with all the cubs

        - Most Importantly we asked the cubs to provide input as to what they want to do this year in cubs
Please help your cub write a list of less than 10 activities he would like to see part of our program this year ..... this input will be reviewed at the next mtg.
