December 10th
The December 10th meeting will provide the Cubs with the opportunity to
test for badges that they've been working on over the last couple of
months.
The Cub Scout badges can be found in the Cub handbook or on-line at
Scouts.ca (http://www.scouts.ca/ca/cub-scouts-badge-requirements).
Parents, please take the opportunity to look at the various badges that
their Cub can earn through the Cub Scout Program.
There are over 45 badges that the Cubs can earn - some are very
detailed, yet others can be done quite simply (e.g. cooking, team player,
collector). You will notice that some of the badges can be signed off by
teachers and team coaches, yet there are some badges that can be earned
through activities completed as a unit.
*** If your Cub is testing for the
Collector badge, they should bring their collection to the meeting. ***
If you’re not testing for a badge, no worries, there will be something
for EVERYONE at this meeting!
